Preparation of g-C3N4/MoS2 Composite Material and Its Visible Light Catalytic Performance

The g-C3N4 nanosheet was prepared by calcination method, the MoS2 hydrothermal method. g-C3N4/MoS2 composites were ultrasonic composite in anhydrous ethanol. X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission photoelectron spectroscopy, ultraviolet–visible and photoluminescence techniques used to characterize materials. photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B (Rh B) with different mass ratios investigated under visible light. results show that a small amount combined can significantly improve activity. ratio 1:8 has highest activity, rate Rh increases from 50 99.6%. main reason is have matching band structure. separation photogenerated electron–hole pairs enhanced. So Through active material capture experiment, it found reaction process holes, followed superoxide radicals.

Visible-light controlled catalytic Cu2O-Au micromotors.

Visible light driven Cu2O-Au micromotors exhibit rapid on/off switching and speed control. Electrochemical measurements confirm that the light-induced movement of the Cu2O-Au micromotors involves a self-electrophoresis mechanism modulated by the photoconductivity of Cu2O. This study extends the utilization of the electromagnetic spectrum for micro/nanomotors into the visible range.
